Normally when we notify a third part booking agent, they are supposed to contact you and move your reservation without our interaction, as you booked the reservation through them not us. ![]() They were no much help in the relocation process. We did notify, which is who you booked the reservation with. This error allowed rooms to be booked, despite the hotel being sold out. I have rarely had a reception professional take better care of me, despite a high occupancy rate. When I mentioned that I was meeting a friend the next morning and needed a breakfast restaurant suggestion, she suggested that since the food is good at Indigo, I invite her to dine with me, giving me a coupon for the friend, who was impressed. She greeted me as a frequent IHG customer and went beyond the normal good customer care. Even more helpful was Dora at the front desk. All I had to do was suggest a bit of fruit on my plate and voila it was there. But the lady who served breakfast all by herself one day was superb. The bellhops who ran the shuttle were pleasant and helpful as were all staff. But the best part about the Indigo is its staff. It is walking distance to the orange line, coming in from DFW airport, to Nieman Marcus, the historic Majestic theater, and luxury hotels. The property has been recently refurbished for the second time since becoming an Indigo giving the impression of a modern, new property despite its history as the oldest Hilton in big D. ![]() I stayed in the Indigo based on a positive experience I had in an Indigo in a NC mountain town and despite high expectations was pleasantly surprised. I typically travel to Dallas three times a year, and I do not want to stay anywhere else from this point forward. They are doing it right at the Hotel Indigo. The valets, the front desk, the shuttle driver, the room service attendant… Everyone made us feel very welcome. And most importantly, I want to add that every single employee that I had any interaction with was helpful, professional, and very friendly. Plenty of storage space, a shelf where you need one, plenty of outlets. Someone put a lot of thought and detail into the design of these rooms. Everything about the room was perfectly laid out. I was told it was a Simmons Premium Pillow Top. The bed was so comfortable, I inquired about the mattress. I don’t typically choose the room service option, but if every hotel was like this one, I certainly would do so. ![]() We were rushed for time before our concert started and decided the best option would be ordering room service. Friendly staff, beautiful accommodations, every amenity you could possibly need…the whole thing was incredible. This hotel exceeded all expectations from start to finish.
